Who we are

This website is run by StudAI Edutech Private Limited (CIN U85500TN2024PTC168744), trading as StudAI Works, Pallavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. We decide how the personal data collected through this website is used. Contact us about privacy at hello@studai.one.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email, country, role, when you'd like to start, and anything else you choose to give (business, website, phone, message). We use it to reply to your enquiry and to prioritise replies. Basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you, and your consent, which you give on the form.
  • Free website check: the website address you enter and, if you give it, your email so we can send you the report. If you tick “contact me about these fixes”, we use your email to contact you about that report. The report describes the business's public website only and is unlisted: anyone with its link can view it, so it never shows your email.
  • Region from your browser: where you don't tell us your country, we may infer a likely region from your browser's timezone setting. We label it as inferred and never treat it as your verified location.
  • Booking a call: the details you give our booking provider, so we can hold the call.
  • Partner application: your name, firm and contact details, to consider your application.
  • Technical data: a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, used only to stop spam and abuse; and anonymous page-view statistics that use no cookies.
  • Marketing emails: only if you tick the separate box. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who processes data for us

We use service providers to run this website: website hosting, our database, email delivery (SendPulse), booking (Cal.com), spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and cookie-free analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or personal data). For the free scan, the public text of the scanned home page is sent to an AI model provider to generate the summary; your own details are never sent. Each provider only processes data to provide its service to us.

International transfers

We are based in India and some providers operate in other countries. Where data leaves the country you are in, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Spam submissions: deleted after 30 days.
  • Scan reports not linked to an enquiry: hidden after 180 days, deleted after 365 days.
  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: deleted 24 months after the last contact.
  • Client records: kept as long as the law requires for tax and contract purposes.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the UK GDPR and similar laws, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. We answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The admin area uses a strictly necessary sign-in cookie for staff only.
